ABOUT OUR CONSERVATOR

Rozemarijn van der Molen, M.A. of The Sculpture Conservator, is an objects conservator with over 10 years of conservation experience. Previously trained as an artist, she chose to study conservation for 5 years in her native country, The Netherlands. She has practiced conservation at Tate UK, where she was responsible for the conservation of sculptures for exhibitions, and of new acquisitions to the collection. In the US, she set up her own private practice, carrying out treatments on a wide variety of materials for private collectors and museums. Since 2019, Rozemarijn has been sharing her exceptional skills in Singapore with museums and private clients.

Rozemarijn has written a number of articles and presented her work at various international conferences and has lectured students at University of Amsterdam.

Her favourite part of the job?
“When I can surpass client expectations - which means they regain full enjoyment of their artwork!” she says.
