WORKING WITH THE SCULPTURE CONSERVATOR
Your first contact with The Sculpture Conservator will give you an opportunity to discuss your project or tell us about your artwork. For larger institutional projects or exhibition work, you will receive a tailored detailed proposal.
Photos provided via e-mail or WhatsApp ahead of our discussion are often helpful.
For unusual materials or larger sculptures, it is usually recommended to schedule a site visit. During this visit our conservator Rozemarijn will examine your object in detail. Following the visit, Rozemarijn will provide you with a written treatment proposal including an estimated cost. This report can be used for insurance purposes. The report is chargeable.
Treatment proposals typically include a number of options. These will be discussed with the client, and once a course of action is agreed, and a deposit is paid, work can begin.
Costs of a 1-2 day project are in the range of SGD 1,000.
Once treatment is complete, a full treatment report will be sent to the client.
